Hello!! Happy Mother’s Day mommy!!
We couldn’t be with our own mom’s on mother’s day so we prepared lots of little treats for some of the members and senior missionaries who have been like “moms” to us.
April showers bring May investigators!!!!! After much prayer and fasting we found an amazing investigator who is prepared to be baptized at the end of this month!! She is so prepared and keeps every commitment. She has a relationship with God that started way before we met her even though she didn’t know who He was.
Me and a member talking a pic in the bathroom haha
I love you all!
See you later!
Update: I am still in Don Muang but I have a new companion! Her name is Sister Darunee. She is from Udorn Thailand (where I served about 3 months ago). She is amazing. She has such an energy for the work and really understands and cares for evey investigator.
Right now as Sister Training Leaders we are watching over 4 new greenies!! I love greenies! I can’t wait to switch off with them.
Other things? The BYU folk dance group came to our ward yesterday and then gave an amazing fireside for the members here. Also, Elder Cook is coming in a few weeks and we get to see him!
We are praying and fasting that our investigators will continue to see the importance of the gospel in their lives as they progress toward baptism. Right now we are specifically praying that we will find someone who will be prepared to be baptized this month (May). We know God will help us as we strive to reach the goal set by our Mission President!
Sorry it’s so short!
I love you all!
Let us all be like this little boy:) Despite having just finished a chemo treatment, here he is all smiles, getting ready for a primary talent show. If we could all just “Search, Ponder and Pray” every day as his song implores us to do, we would be on the straight and narrow our whole life and despite any challenges or difficulties we could smile through just as he is:)
